Are You Shopping for Clothes for Your Husband’s Father’s Day Gift?
Maybe you have looked at your 2020 calendar for the month of June and have realized that Father's Day is almost here. Do you already know the gifts you want to give your husband on his special day? Maybe you have decided that your husband needs some new clothes, but you're undecided about what to purchase. If that's the case, keep reading for some ideas that might help you.
Consider Men's Suits for Church
When is the last time your husband bought a new suit? If it's been a while, maybe it's time to buy him a suit that he can wear to church and other formal settings.
Before you shop, determine exactly the size suit your husband will need. If his present suit fits him well, go with the same size. Maybe he has either lost or gained weight. If so, check out the waist size on the everyday pants he wears and go with that same size when you select his church suit.
Next, you need to decide on the style you want to select for your husband.
On the Casual Side
Maybe your husband will be most comfortable in a casual suit. For instance, stretch slim pants in a royal blue cotton blend fabric would be one good choice. The same style in khaki would be another good option.
If you do buy the casual suit, think of buying him one or two white shirts that are perfect for church and for other nice functions. Also, buy a polo shirt or two for times that he just wants to wear the pants and not the coat. If you go with the blue suit, light yellow or off-white would both be good color choices for the polo shirts.
On the Elegant Side
As you look at men's suits for church, consider that your husband might also wear his new suit to places like formal dinner parties or to important executive meetings. With that in mind, think of selecting a gray pinstripe three-piece suit with pleated pants.
If you want to buy a second gift, think of buying a high-end black leather belt to go with the suit. A black dress shirt would add drama to the suit for times when your husband still wants to dress up a bit but doesn't want a totally elegant look.
Think of buying a new necktie to go with your husband's new church suit. Choose one that will complement the suit you have chosen.
